The University of Colorado is conducting a survey as part of the development process for its next strategic plan, known as Strategic Plan 2.0. The survey, which was distributed to all faculty, staff, and students via email, will close on Friday, February 6.
A reminder email was sent on Monday, February 2, to those who had not yet completed the survey. Recipients are asked to use the unique link provided in an email with the subject “Share Your Voice on CU’s Future.” The university estimates that completing the survey will take about ten minutes.
To encourage participation, the campus with the highest response rate among faculty, staff, and students will receive a $1,000 donation for its campus food pantry.
“This survey is designed to gather perspectives on university priorities, performance and opportunities for improvement,” President Todd Saliman said in his email launching the effort late last year. “The insights you provide will help shape our next Strategic Plan as we work to continue delivering for our community.”
Strategic Planning Co-Chairs Lynn Vidler, provost at UCCS, and Chad Marturano, vice president and chief financial officer for the CU system, emphasized that feedback from all groups within the university is crucial in forming a strategic direction that aligns with community values and aspirations.
The upcoming Strategic Plan 2.0 will replace the current five-year plan at the end of this academic year. A draft of the new plan is expected to be submitted to President Saliman by June. The final version will be presented to the Board of Regents during the summer.
