The Board of Regents has finished its scheduled review and approved updates to certain university laws and policies. On February 5, the board revised Policy 13.D, which concerns the defense and indemnification of University of Colorado employees, as well as Policy 13.E on fiscal misconduct.

During the same meeting, the board reviewed several other policies but decided no changes were necessary. These include Policy 1.B on guiding principles, Policy 2.E regarding faculty, staff, and student representatives to the Board of Regents, and Policy 14.B about how external entities may use the university’s name and marks in advertising and marketing.

These actions are part of a five-year review cycle for regent laws and policies at the University of Colorado. A more detailed summary of these policy changes can be found on the university’s website at https://www.cu.edu/regents/rlpreview#tabs-2.
