University of Colorado opens nominations for 2026 Staff Excellence Awards

The University of Colorado Staff Council is seeking nominations for the 2026 Staff Excellence Awards. These awards are intended to honor staff members who have demonstrated exceptional performance and contributed significantly to the university.

Eligibility for nomination includes all CU staff members such as classified staff, university staff, research professionals, and professional research assistants from the four campuses and system administration. Faculty, temporary staff, student workers, and medical trainees are not eligible.

A total of ten winners will be selected—two from each campus and system administration. Each recipient will receive a $250 award at a ceremony scheduled for April 24. Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. on January 30, with winners expected to be notified by mid-March.
