Signal improvement project scheduled for CO 82 and Catherine Store Road

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), along with contractor Morton Electric, is set to begin work on traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of Colorado Highway 82 and Catherine Store Road in Carbondale. The project will start on Monday, September 15.

According to CDOT, the planned improvements include replacing existing signal equipment on current traffic poles. The upgrade will involve new electrical systems, updated signage, and new signal heads. Additionally, the project will introduce fresh striping and pavement markings for crosswalks at the intersection.
