Paving work is starting today on the west side of US Highway 50 at Monarch Pass, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The operations are scheduled from August 18 through August 20, with crews working between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.

During this period, motorists traveling through the area should expect delays of up to 15 minutes due to alternating one-lane traffic.
