Dozens of delegates from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) met in Atlanta for a conference organized by the Georgia State Council, which serves as the union’s statewide political advocacy group. The event focused on engaging members and discussing issues important to working families in advance of the upcoming midterm elections.

During the conference, IAM members had an opportunity to meet with political candidates. The discussions centered on concerns relevant to workers and their families, reflecting the council’s ongoing efforts to increase political action among its membership.

The meeting was part of a broader strategy by the Georgia State Council to encourage union members to participate actively in the election process and ensure their voices are heard on key policy matters.
