IAM Union leaders visit Wisconsin facilities to highlight member skills at Mercury Marine and John Deere

IAM Union leaders, including International President Brian Bryant and Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, recently visited members of IAM Local 1947 at Mercury Marine and Local 873 at John Deere in Wisconsin. Chief of Staff Vinny Addeo also joined the tour.

During their visit, local officials guided the union officers and staff through both facilities. Bryant reflected on these visits, stating his appreciation for the craftsmanship demonstrated by union members involved in manufacturing Mercury Outboard engines and John Deere equipment.

“I am proud to see the high-quality work and skills displayed by our union members in manufacturing products like Mercury Outboard engines and premium John Deere equipment,” said Bryant.

Workers from Mercury Marine described their expertise in areas such as machining, pouring, and grinding. They expressed pride in producing American-made products.
