Winpisinger Center in Hollywood, Maryland. The event centered on several key safety initiatives within the air transport sector.
According to the IAM, the committee’s primary objectives were to encourage collaborative safety programs, such as the Ground Safety Action Program, and to focus on preventing injuries and mitigating hazards. The conference also emphasized the importance of supporting training and education efforts for workers and advocating for comprehensive safety reporting systems.
The conference featured daily video summaries that covered sessions on issues including distracted driving and the challenges of workplace carelessness and complacency.
