IAM highlights employee assistance programs for members during holiday season

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced the continued availability of its two Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to support members and their families during the holiday season. The union emphasized that these programs provide confidential assistance around the clock.

IAM leadership acknowledged that the holidays can be a difficult period for many individuals. “As we move through the holiday season, we wish every member and their families a happy holidays. We support you, your family, and your loved ones through what can be a challenging time,” stated IAM representatives.

In addition to the union’s EAP offerings, IAM highlighted other resources available to those in need. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be reached by dialing 988 or by texting 988. Online support is also accessible at 988lifeline.org. In emergencies, individuals are urged to call 911.
