To support the ongoing construction at the Interstate 25 and US Highway 50B Interchange, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and SEMA Construction will implement a series of overnight closures on I-25. These closures are necessary to safely demolish the existing US 50B bridge over I-25.

Access at the interchange is currently limited to northbound I-25 on- and off-ramps until substantial completion of the project. CDOT advises motorists to use CO 47 for connections between US 50B and I-25.

“Removal of the US 50B bridge over I-25 is integral to advancing the I-25/US 50B interchange project,” said CDOT Regional Transportation Director Shane Ferguson. “The closures are required to ensure the safety of work crews and the traveling public.”

Starting November 7, drivers will face closures on I-25 through Pueblo at US 50B (Exit 100A). For southbound travel, motorists should detour via CO 47 (Exit 101), continue on CO 96, then use Santa Fe Avenue and 13th Street (Exit 99B) to return to southbound I-25. Northbound travelers should exit onto eastbound US 50B (Exit 100A) and then take CO 47 (Exit 318) back to northbound I-25.
