Today marks Giving Tuesday, a global event encouraging charitable donations following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is promoting its preferred charity, Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC), as it launches the Holidays of Hope fundraiser.

GDA | TLC is seeking contributions to support its mission of providing service dogs to individuals in need. According to the organization, “Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides.”

The campaign highlights the importance of supporting those who rely on service animals for greater independence and quality of life.
