The City of Grand Junction will begin distributing its printed 2026 calendar to residents next week. The annual publication is sent to over 55,000 households and includes a variety of information such as a letter from the Mayor, a review of projects and accomplishments from 2025, a message from the City Manager, and details about city services. It also provides information on the city’s Strategic Plan, lists Boards and Commissions with their meeting dates, schedules for City Council meetings, national and state holidays, trash and recycling pick-up delays, and holiday closures for city offices.

Each year, photographs submitted by community members are considered for inclusion in the calendar. The Commission on Arts and Culture reviews these submissions and selects the final images. For the 2026 edition, 15 photos were chosen that showcase landscapes and outdoor activities throughout Grand Junction.

Residents who do not receive a calendar by mail can pick one up at several locations: City Hall at 250 N 5th St., the Utilities Office at 910 Main St., either the Police or Fire Department at 555 or 625 Ute Avenue respectively, the Parks and Recreation office at 1340 Gunnison Ave., or the Visitors Center at 740 Horizon Drive.
