The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce is launching two new programs aimed at helping local businesses develop strategic skills for the coming year. The initiatives, announced as 2026 begins, are intended to support business leaders in making informed decisions and improving operations.

The first program, the AI Series within the Catalyst Convener Champion Insight Series, will start on January 20, 2026. The series addresses how artificial intelligence is already affecting business practices such as marketing, data management, customer communication, and productivity. According to the Chamber, “Artificial intelligence is no longer a future concept. It is already reshaping how businesses market, manage data, communicate with customers, and improve productivity. For many business owners, the challenge is not whether AI matters, but how to understand it without feeling overwhelmed or falling behind.” The series aims to provide practical information about current AI applications and responsible adoption.

The second initiative is the Traction Leadership Cohort beginning February 24, 2026. This cohort introduces participants to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), which provides structure around vision setting, accountability measures, and execution strategies for organizations of all sizes—including nonprofits. The Chamber stated that this opportunity “offers a more accessible and economical way to experience Traction without the cost or commitment of full scale implementation.” An introductory EOS Traction Leadership Kickoff session will be held on January 28 for those interested in learning more before enrolling.

Both programs reflect the Chamber’s focus on supporting long-term business growth through education and planning. “Strong businesses do not happen by accident. They are built by leaders who invest time in learning, planning, and improving how their organizations operate,” according to a statement from the organization.

Space in both programs is limited; early registration is encouraged through gjchamber.org/events.
