The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its Annual Banquet, an event intended to bring together members of the Mesa County business community for an evening focused on recognition and connection. The banquet is open to chamber members, stakeholders, and businesses throughout Mesa County.

According to the Chamber, the event serves as a pause from daily work demands and offers attendees a chance to acknowledge the effort and collaboration required to maintain a strong local economy. “Celebration reminds us why the work is worth it and reinforces the relationships that help businesses navigate challenges and find opportunity,” states the Chamber. The evening will feature networking opportunities designed to foster new partnerships, mentorships, ideas, and momentum for local businesses.

Proceeds from the banquet will benefit two programs: the Mesa County Leadership Program and the Young Entrepreneur Academy. These initiatives aim to develop future leaders by supporting professional growth across industries and providing young people with hands-on experience in business creation.

The event also includes several awards recognizing individuals and organizations within Mesa County. Honors will be given for Small Business of the Year (for companies with fewer than 25 full-time employees), Large Business of the Year (for those with more than 25 full-time employees), Young Professional of the Year (an emerging leader making an impact through work and community involvement), and Citizen of the Year (an individual recognized for service, leadership, and commitment).

Last year’s recipients included Innovative Textiles, The Christi Reece Group, Shane Haas of FCI Constructors, and Selena Sanchez of Grand Junction Economic Partnership.

Tickets are currently available for purchase at gjchamber.org/events. Early bird pricing concludes this Friday.
