Colorado Mesa University’s Cultural Inclusion Council (CIC) is set to hold its 8th Annual CIC Fashion Show on Saturday, March 7, in the university’s Meyer Ballroom. The event, themed “100 Years of Culture,” marks the university’s centennial and aims to honor the diversity within the Maverick community.

The CIC, a student-led group, organizes events that foster education and promote dialogue among students from different backgrounds. According to the council, their work is focused on helping individuals connect and better understand each other.

Student participants will curate and model outfits that reflect their heritage and personal identity during the fashion show. The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 7 p.m., offering appetizers and live music. The main show starts at 7:30 p.m. and runs until 9:30 p.m. Tickets include appetizers, and there will be a cash bar available for attendees. Formal attire is recommended.

Tickets are available for purchase by the public at https://tickets.coloradomesa.edu/. Colorado Mesa University students can attend free if they RSVP and sign in through MAVzone to access their tickets.
