The Colorado Department of Transportation has finished work to upgrade traffic signals at two intersections in Craig. The project, carried out by Sturgeon Electric, focused on improving signal efficiency and pedestrian access.

At the intersection of Highway 40 (West 4th Street) and Ranney Street, new pedestal poles with pedestrian push buttons were installed. Video detection equipment was also added to help manage traffic flow more effectively.

The upgrades have been completed at both intersections on US 40 and CO 13 within the city limits.
