The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin surface treatment work on US Highway 285 in Villa Grove starting Monday, September 22. The project will cover the stretch between Saguache and Poncha Springs. Paving operations are scheduled to last four days, from Monday through Thursday, with work taking place between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
During this period, motorists should expect full stops and alternating traffic patterns. Delays of 15 to 20 minutes are anticipated while crews conduct repairs to the concrete road surface at Mile Point 104 in Villa Grove.
CDOT has issued a maintenance alert for this section of US 285 and encourages drivers to plan accordingly during the scheduled work hours.
