CDOT to start ADA curb ramp replacements in Boulder and Lyons

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and Goodland Construction, Inc. will begin a project to replace curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) starting in mid-October. The project will take place at 24 intersections along US Highway 36 in the Town of Lyons and City of Boulder, as well as four intersections on Colorado Highway 7 in Lyons.

According to CDOT, the work is scheduled to be completed by late March. The project will be conducted in two phases: Phase 1 will address intersections in the City of Lyons from mid-October to mid-December, while Phase 2 will focus on intersections in the City of Boulder along US 36 from mid-December to mid-March.
